Nick Doddridge

Account Manager, Kapco Futures Inc.

Nick Doddridge is an account manager at Kapco Futures, specializing in the grain and livestock markets. Since Kapco's inception in 2019, Nick has played a pivotal role in managing customer accounts and assisting clients with hedging decisions to effectively manage their risk.

He holds a degree in Agribusiness from Michigan State University, with a minor in Economics. Nick got his start in the industry working at the Chicago Board of Trade before joining Kapco.

Chad Hart

Professor and Extension Economist, Iowa State University

Chad Hart, originally from southwest Missouri, earned his B.S. in economics from Southwest Missouri State University in 1991 and a Ph.D. in economics and statistics from Iowa State University in 1999.

After working as a researcher at Iowa State’s Center for Agricultural & Rural Development, Chad joined the faculty in 2008. His research focuses on agricultural marketing and risk management.

Nick Lawrence

Market Advisor, Trader PhD Ag Marketing

Nick Lawrence has been working in ag marketing since 2019. Growing up on a family farm in central Indiana, he combines his practical farming experience with a Bachelor’s in Finance from Indiana University, Indianapolis. Nick specializes in providing insights into the Corn, Soybean, Wheat, Live Cattle, Feeder Cattle, and Cotton markets.

As an Ag Marketing Advisor at Trader PhD, Nick helps clients develop personalized strategies to navigate market trends and achieve their operational goals.
